Spring & Summer Grants for Online Fees

Dear University of Michigan -Flint Students,

As many of you prepare to participate in Spring/Summer 2020 courses, we want to notify you of a couple of key updates.

1) To assist you with the associated cost of online learning, Financial Aid will award Emergency Grants to enrolled students over the next few weeks to cover the cost of online fees. The Emergency Grant amount will match the cost of your exact online fees and will be adjusted accordingly should you change your spring or summer enrollment.

2) For this year only, the Student Accounts Office will waive the first late penalty on any unpaid spring charges that are due 4/15/2020. The first late penalty will be applied to any unpaid balance remaining as of 5/15/2020.  If you have any questions about your bill or late penalties, please contact the Student Accounts Office at flint.cashiers@umich.edu

The Office of Financial Aid continues to take virtual appointments.  Please visit www.umflint.edu/finaid to schedule an appointment.
