International Students

The University of Michigan-Flint (UM-Flint) School of Management welcomes international students from all countries of the world to the BBA and MBA programs. Applications should be made directly to the University of Michigan-Flint. All application materials should be received and admission criteria should be met for admission to our programs.

The University of Michigan-Flint admits international students who
  • meet a minimum required score in TOEFL
  • are in good academic standing at the home institution
  • provide a financial affidavit verifying available funds
  • complete and submit a guest student application

The University of Michigan-Flint provides assistance in location and accommodation, and advising on academic matters. Upon arrival, international students are strongly advised to meet with the BBA Manager/MBA Director on curricular and schedule advising so that a curriculum plan that meets their unique career goal. The School of Management also has a blog to answer frequently asked questions by international students before their arrival, hosted by the Student Services Coordinator. International students who do not meet the minimum required TOEFL score are required to participate in the University’s English Language Program.
