The School of Management and the Rotary Club of Flint invite the community to The Economic Forum on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 12:00pm – 1:30pm in the Northbank Center Grand Ballroom at 432 North Saginaw Street, Flint, MI 48502.

This annual event features a panel of financial and economic leaders who will address the topics of U.S. and World Economics. This year’s panel members are Steve Chenenko, Chief Risk Officer at Nationwide Bank, Dr. Yener Kandogan, Associate Dean and Professor of International Business, School of Management, Dr. Christopher Douglas, Associate Professor & Department Chair of Economics, Department of Economics. We invite you to this stimulating, informative discussion about engaging economic topics.

There is no cost to attend the Economic Forum for UM-Flint students, faculty, staff, and alumni attendees. Lunch will be provided prior to the Forum opening at 11:30am. Fellow community members are asked to pay $10 upon entrance.

Juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to engage first year pre-business students in a professional manner. Mentors will assist pre-business students by sharing their own experiences, knowledge, and study skills obtained through the business program to heighten academic success. Mentors will act as a resource to guide career and professional development.

A student will have the opportunity to engage with upperclassmen to obtain knowledge regarding on-campus resources and gain the insight on navigating their academic degree plan.
