June 24th - June 30th, 2006
06/22/06 One parking meter was stolen and one damaged in Lot G near the Murchie Science building. This incident is under investigation.
06/26/06 A man walked up to a University employee getting out of her car near the North Bank Center building. He threatened to damage her car if she did not give him money. She threatened to call the police if he did not leave. He left.
06/26/06 A student guard in Lot R observed a man and woman breaking a window in an office building across from the Williams S. White building. Public Safety police officers detained the suspects until Flint Police arrived.
06/26/06 An elderly man refused to comply with Recreation center rules of wearing proper foot wear when using the treadmill. He refused to comply with employees and with the responding Public Safety officer. This incident is being handled administratively according to Recreation Center policies.
06/26/06 Two subjects were caught on surveillance tape jumping the counter at Aidas in the Pavilion to steal baklava. This incident is under investigation.
June 17th - June 23rd, 2006
06/18/06 Public Safety assisted a subject stuck in a French Hall elevator until elevator repair could arrive on campus.
06/22/06 Two parking meters in lot G were stolen. This investigation continues.
06/22/06 A University employee working at the Northbank Center reported receiving an obscene telephone call. This investigation continues.
June 10th - June 16th, 2006
06/10/06 and 06/15/06 An unknown person using a pry tool opened several vending machines in restrooms in French Hall and in the Murchie Science buildings. Money was stolen from these machines. This investigation continues.
06/14/06 An ATM alarm was activated on the machine in French Hall. A wire was found disconnected from the machine.
06/16/06 A window was discovered to be damaged in the University Pavilion. It appears as if a foreign object had broken the window. This investigation continues.
June 3rd - June 9th, 2006
06/03/06 A Public Safety employee observed a hit and run accident to a car parked in the Mill street parking deck following a high school prom. The at fault driver was stopped and issued a ticket for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
06/05/06 Graffiti was found in a restroom in the Library. This investigation continues.
06/08/06 A complaint was called in reference to a subject begging for money. He was stopped, identified, and trespassed from returning to University property.
