June 4 – June 10, 2005
06/07/05 A Public Safety student guard observed a suspicious person contacting female students near the entrance to the Theater building. The suspect was interviewed, and trespassed and escorted off campus.
06/08/05 A suspect was aggressively begging female students for money near the William S. White building. He was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant.
06/09/05 Several students walking through the Pavilion ramp rushed to the aid of a female student screaming for help. The victim's boyfriend was inside of her car. The boyfriend, when confronted by the witnesses, grabbed the victim's purse and ran off. The victim denied to Safety that anything criminal had happened and that it was just a misunderstanding.
06/10/05 Public Safety employees monitoring the surveillance system in the William S. White building observed a suspicious woman entering the building. She was found in an empty classroom writing on the chalk board. The subject was arrested on an outstanding larceny warrant and transported to District Court for arraignment.
06/10/05 Public Safety employees monitoring the surveillance system in the William S. White building observed a man throw litter onto the ground near a bench on the south side of the river. He was contacted and checked for warrants. After this contact it was learned suspect has been previously trespassed twice in the recent past. Arrest warrants for littering and trespassing will be sought.
