May 7 – May 13, 2005

05/09/05 A Public Safety officer working the midnight shift observed a car at a high rate of speed drive through a red light north bound on Saginaw at Kearsley Street . The subject was stopped and a computer check conducted. He had a suspended driver's license and criminal warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and issued a ticket for driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.

05/10/05 A toilet paper dispenser in a restroom in the Library was found intentionally damaged.

05/10/05 An ambulance was called to the Recreation Center after a subject injured his ankle while playing basketball. DPS responded and he was transported to the hospital by ambulance for further medical attention.

05/11/05 A female student reported stalking behavior by her ex-boyfriend (another student on campus). A report was generated and an investigation conducted. The report and investigation assisted her in getting a PPO. A referral to the Woman's Center and Student Life was made by Public Safety.

05/13/05 A wallet containing cash, credit cards and misc. ID was stolen from an unlocked locker in the men's locker room in the Recreation Center . A subject wanted by Public Safety was identified as a suspect. Additional investigation is underway.

05/13/05 A Public Safety employee observed a hit and run accident during a high school prom detail in student lot A. The suspect was stopped and issued a ticket for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

05/13/05 A “found” seven year old was reunited with her aunt after she was lost in the crowd at the Northern High School prom.
