Welcome to the Office of Research at the University of Michigan-Flint!
We look forward to the opportunity to help you in any way that will assist in your research goals. Our office acts as both an advocate and a facilitator of research and creative activities here on campus. For faculty and staff, this means anything related to moving research along which includes: managing your internal and external sponsored grants to ensure that funds are spent according to federal and university compliance requirements, ensuring your projects are run efficiently, and that sound financial management principles are provided to guide all spending. For students it means finding opportunities to engage in research and/or acquire research skills.
This website contains an assortment of information regarding specific research-related topics for which we can offer assistance. Whether you are a faculty member, a student, or a member of our support staff, we hope to address your needs as a valued member of the University of Michigan-Flint!

| Funding Announcements |
The weekly funding announcements are now located on the "Office of Research External Funding Resources" Blackboard organization. To enroll in the new site:
- Go to the Blackboard site at http://bb.umflint.edu
- Log in to Blackboard (if you are unable to log in to Blackboard or if you need to create an account, contact Nicolas Gaspar in the Office of Extended Learning at ngaspar@umflint.edu).
- Type "Office of Research" in the Organization Search engine on the left side of the screen, and click "Go" to search.
- On the next page, you’ll see the Office of Research External Funding Resources organization. On the far right, click on the "Enroll" button and follow the prompts.
