April 29, 2018 Commencement Ceremony:
The University will hold two commencement ceremonies, the first at 10:00 AM and the second at 3:00 PM. Each ceremony is expected to last approximately two hours. Tickets for guests are NOT needed for either ceremony. Please note this is NOT the same as applying for graduation.
10:00 AM Ceremony: (Please report at least one hour prior to the start of your ceremony)

Graduate students from the Rackham School of Graduate Studies
3:00 PM Ceremony: (Please report at least one hour prior to the start of your ceremony)
Undergraduate and Graduate students from the School of Management
Undergraduate and Graduate students from the School of Health Professions and Studies
Undergraduate and Graduate students from the School of Nursing
The Spring 2018 commencement exercises will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Dort Federal Event Center, located at 3501 Lapeer Rd, Flint, MI 48503. (Click here for driving directions to the Dort Federal Event Center)

Grad Fair 2018:
The Graduation Fair will be held in the University of Michigan-Flint Bookstore, March 13 - March 14 from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. The Bookstore is located on the first floor of the University Pavilion (106 UPAV). You may contact the Bookstore at 810-762-3030.

Cap and Gown:
All degree candidates who participate in the commencement ceremony must wear appropriate academic attire. Caps and gowns are available for purchase at the University Pavilion Bookstore any business day prior to the ceremony.
To avoid any difficulty obtaining your correct size in cap and gown, attire should be picked up from the Bookstore as soon as possible. For more information visit the bookstore website here.
