University of Michigan - Flint

The Ellen Bommarito Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Center of the University of Michigan-Flint provides advocacy, support, outreach and a safe space for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and allies.

The LGBT Center provides services and programming to assist all members of the UM-Flint community in developing awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender concerns.

The Center offers periodicals, books, DVDs, general information, and trains facilitators for classes and groups.

The LGBT Center is staffed part-time. Many student volunteers keep the Center open as often as we can. We eat lunch and watch movies or have general discussions, usually about controversial events and theories, between classes. We would love to have you visit and introduce yourselves!
