ITS Services
The ITS Department offers services ranging from the campus email system to computer lab and classroom facilities. We're happy to answer your most basic--or most complicated--information technology questions.
How to Access Computing Services
Students, faculty and staff are eligible for a variety of computing services at the University of Michigan-Flint. In order to use U of M computing services, you must have a uniqname (your personal identifier).
- Student Accounts
Student accounts are created automatically upon application. Students can change their password for their computer account online using Student Information Services (SIS). Please consult the ITS Student and Alumni Support Center for more information. - Faculty and Staff Accounts
Faculty and staff must submit the online Access Request Form to obtain a computer account. Please consult the ITS Faculty and Staff Support Center for more information.
Fee-Based Services
ITS offers many fee-based services to university departments and student organizations such as adding additional space to your Home Drive, Departmental Drive, and Email, server hosting, data storage and backup services, and web hosting services.
