Employment Options

F-1 and J-1 students are eligible to work in the U.S. with certain restrictions. 

J-1 Scholars may participate in occasional lectures and short-term consultations as long as such activities are approved in advance and in writing by the UM-Flint International Center.

Practical Training (OPT/CPT)

F students are eligible to work in the United States during and after your program ending by engaging in pratical training.
