English Language Program
Anna loves all things international. She has over ten years of experience teaching English and other languages, developing assessments, designing curriculum and coordinating programs in the United States and overseas. She received a BA in Linguistics, an MA in English and German Linguistics and Educational Psychology from Sakhalin State University in Russia, and a PhD in Modern Languages from Wayne State University in Michigan. Her research interests include the use of English in non-native contexts, teaching of English as a Global Language, teaching methodologies, and curriculum design. She has presented her research at various conferences, including TESOL and World Englishes conferences. She loves staying abreast with the latest developments in the field and networking with her colleague from all over the world. When she is not working, she loves to dance, read, play tennis, going to concerts and art museums and travel.
