Anesthesia (MS) - Degree Requirements
Curriculum
The MS in Anesthesia program is 60 credits beyond the bachelor’s degree. The program of full-time study, over 24 consecutive months, integrates academic and clinical anesthesia courses taught at Hurley Medical Center and the University of Michigan- Flint campus. Although didactic course work follows the academic calendar, the clinical practicums span the entire calendar year. Currently, clinical practicums take place at Hurley Medical Center (Flint), Genesys Regional Medical Center (Grand Blanc), Memorial Healthcare (Owosso), Covenant Healthcare (Saginaw), McLaren Regional Medical Center (Flint), Port Huron Hospital (Port Huron), St. Mary’s of Michigan (Saginaw), and Mid-Michigan Medical Center (Midland). Other sites may be added in the future.
