UM-Flint established a dedicated EDA University Center Research Fund to support faculty/student teams in applied research that addresses the region’s economic and business development needs. University research teams will work side-by-side with community groups, enhancing learning for students while increasing the capacity of the community. Research stakeholders will range from businesses, non-profits, and community organizations to local government, hospitals, and economic development entities. When appropriate, the Center will leverage expertise from UM-Ann Arbor, as well as other university partners in the state.
