Assessment Summary for 2006-2007:
The Department of Education will continue to offer support for the use of electronic portfolios through Black Board. We are in the process of determining what future courses of action will be taken. As stated previously, ongoing program review will continue and become more in depth. Curriculum mapping that involves aligning our courses with the ELSMT (Entry level standards for Michigan teachers) standards is currently in progress, and may involve revisions due to the new entry level standards developed by the state. We will continue to familiarize ourselves with the TEAC accreditation process as we further develop our claims and timeline.
