Assessment Summary for 2005-2006:
The Department of Music continued to refine its assessment measures in 2005-2006. Goals in deomonstrated critical understanding of music theory and history were met. Added competency in music notation software was viewed as an essential element of the assessment plan. Students have no difficulty demonstrating competency because music notation software must be used in all levels of music theory courses.
