Transfer Student Orientation

Orientation at the University is a mandatory program designed to facilitate a smooth transition to the University and assist you in making the most of your college experience. Recognizing that transfer students may need different levels of information to make a smooth transition, we offer four types of transfer student orientation sessions. You will need to decide which type best meets your needs. There is an orientation fee which will be added to your tuition bill.

ORIENTATION 101: This session type is the most in depth of our program offerings. Participants will review university requirements, take a campus tour, meet with an academic advisor and register for courses.

TRANSITIONS: This session type will spend equal amounts of time covering university requirements and touring the campus.

EXPRESS ORIENTATION: This session type will focus on a campus tour. We will spend a very short time highlighting university requirements.

ONLINE ORIENTATION: This session type serves as an introduction to registration, financial aid, student accounts and important services on campus. It also introduces you to your academic department. The entire online orientation should take approximately twenty minutes. You will be given a link to launch the online orientation at the end of the Pre-Orientation Program.
