William "B.J." Hull was appointed vice chancellor for university advancement in January 2020. He holds a B.A. in English from Alma College and his M.B.A. from Michigan State University. Mr. Hull has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of development and the last 10 years within higher education. Most recently, Hull has served as the vice president for advancement, Olivet College. As the vice chancellor for university advancement, Mr. Hull is responsible for units which comprise University Advancement including Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, Career Center, Development, Government and Community Relations, and University Communications and Marketing.

Mia D. McNeil, Esq.
Mia D. McNeil joined the University of Michigan – Flint as the Director of Government and Community Relations in Fall 2016. She is the official lobbyist for the university and leads all sponsorships and partnerships on behalf of the university on local, state, and federal levels. She is a 2001 alumna of Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee and a 2008 alumna Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan, where she received her Juris Doctor. She is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and a registered lobbyist for the State of Michigan.
Sara joined the University of Michigan-Flint team in 2013. A large part of her work focuses on connecting industry to students through internships, events, and employment. Sara is a 2006 UM-Flint Alumna, graduating with an MBA.
Ellen has served as a Major Gift Officer at UM-Flint since 2010 with concentrated efforts in the School of Education and Human Services and the College of Health Sciences. She is a 1990 UM-Flint Alumna, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts.
Matt joined the university in 2013, working in marketing and student support before joing University Advancement in 2016. Matt served as Chair of UM-Flint Staff Council for 2018-19, and is currently one of two campus representatives for Voices of the Staff for the University of Michigan. An alumnus himself, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the School of Management.
Myesha joined the University Advancement staff as a Career Advisor in the Career Center in 2016.
Darlene joined the University of Michigan-Flint team in October 2018. In her role as a Leadership Annual Giving Officer, Darlene builds relationships with current and prospective donors to help match their charitable and engagement interests to the needs of campus. Her primary focus is within the College of Arts and Sciences. Darlene holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Eastern Michigan University.
Originally from Ukraine, Tetyana Clarke joined the University Development team in January 2018 and serves as the Donor Relations and Stewardship Assistant. She is a graduate of the nationally-recognized internship program within Penn State’s Division of Development and Alumni Relations. Tetyana holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts in Cello Performance.
Sheila has been with the University of Michigan-Flint since 2010 and with University Advancement since 2015.
Brent has served in University Advancement since 2008, first as Alumni Manager, and currently as Associate Director for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters degree from UM-Flint.
Monica joined the University Advancement team in January of 2014. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.
Melissa has served at UM-Flint since 2001, starting as Development and Marketing Director for University Outreach. Currently, she is a Major Gift Officer for the University with focus on the School of Management from which she holds a degree.
Crystal joined the University of Michigan-Flint team in January 2019. In her role as Leadership Annual Giving Officer, Crystal is tasked with building relationships with current and prospective donors to help match their charitable interests and passions to the needs of UM-Flint. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership.
Pam joined the University of Michigan-Flint in 2001, working in the Center for Service Learning & School Partnerships. She joined the University Advancement team in September 2016. Pam manages university special events, including the Frances Willson Thompson Critical Issues Forum speaker series. She is also the point of contact for sponsorship of community events and initiatives. Pam is a certified Collegiate Conference and Events Professional (CCEP), and holds an Associate degree in graphic communication from Baker College.
