Where We Are
University of Michigan-Flint is situated on over 76 acres, overlooking the breathtaking Flint River in Flint, Michigan (population 125,000). While the city is best known as the birthplace of General Motors, the face of our city has evolved. Today, Flint is home to much more than that.
Flint offers a diverse range of activities, from cultural and entertainment venues such as the Flint Cultural Center and Flint Institute of Arts, and historical attractions like the Whaley Historical House. Our location also provides you with many opportunities to get out and enjoy the nightlife, shop, or grab a bite to eat at any number of good nearby restaurants.
Getting here is easy. Flint is conveniently located at the intersection of two major state highways, I-75 and I-69, making travel to nearby cities convenient. Additionally, Bishop International Airport is located just minutes outside of Flint. Simply follow the downtown exits to our campus.
