I am ....involved
Student life at the University
Your college experience doesn’t end once you leave the classroom. At the University of Michigan-Flint, we offer numerous opportunities for you to get involved for an enriched and well-rounded experience (plus, let’s be honest, it’s just fun!).
Every semester, the American Democracy Project hosts the Critical Issues Forum, which brings to our campus nationally renowned speakers like journalist Bob Woodward, scientist and environmental activist David Suzuki, and Former CIA Director, R. James Woolsey. There are art fairs and exhibits, films, live theatre, concerts, festivals, and conferences on a wide variety of topics from diversity to political affairs.
If you’re looking to make a difference, make new friends, or enhance your leadership skills, you can participate in one (or more!) of our more than 50 clubs and organizations:
See how you can fill your social calendar:
-
Let your voice be heard on our Campus Activities Board, where you can be in charge of what’s happening on campus.
-
Go Greek in one of our fraternities or sororities.
-
Parlez-vous Francais? You can refine your French speaking skills in our French Language and Cultural Club.
-
Kick it up with our Soccer Club.
-
Expand on your academic experiences through one of our rigorous honor societies.
