About Flint
The City of Flint, located in eastern Michigan, is a mid-size city with a population of approximately 125,000. Although Flint is best known as the birthplace of General Motors, it is quickly becoming better known as an educational, cultural, retail, artistic, and recreational center. A key transportation hub in multiiple respects, Flint is located at the intersection of two interstate highways, I-75 and I-69, making convenient travel to nearby cities like Detroit, Ann Arbor and Lansing – all are less than 60 miles from Flint. The city has a local MTA bus system, an Amtrak train station and Bishop International Airport is among the fastest growing airports in the nation.
